Final Project Update was actually last week's blog but I was sick for days. I must have eaten something really bad. But I'm always eating because I have a hollow leg so I have no idea what that could have been that made me so sick. Maybe I was sick because I'm so sad at my decision not to return to media next year. I really love this class more than anything else in the world, even food which you know is one of my favorite things. I don't know how I am ever going to live without Mr. M and his constant reminders about turning in my work on time next year. I am going to really miss everything about media and this class. I'm especially going to miss getting my free snack at the snack shop when I worked after school. Maybe one of my friends next year will give me their free snack.

Hey guys! Today I wanted to talk about my fourth quarter project idea. If you didn't know, for our fourth quarter project, we can practically do whatever kind of video we want. It can be like commercials, movie trailer, music video, new story, short film, PSA'S, tutorial videos, mostly any kind of video! We can also do it with a partner for certain types of the videos! My partner is Marlena and we decided to do a music video! It's called a drop in the ocean but I don't want to spoil the video but I can tell you just some things. It's about a boy and girl who are best friends but the boy likes her but she doesn't know... I guess that's all! Byeee!! Hi guys! First off, I think it's a great idea to do community service since the community has helped us a lot with fundraising for the trip. Without the community's help we might not even have this media program! And I think we should give back to the community and help with maybe charity's or we can do something simple like pick up trash from the sidewalk! The first thing I want to talk about is charity's. There's not a lot of charity's that happen but when they do, I think we should take advantage of that. Some charity's they have is like march of dimes or relay for life or anything! A good and easy thing we can do is a food drive! First off, we can bring our own cans to the food drive and then we can ask friend or family's to chip in! We can ask other people to and they can help us with the food drive! The most easiest thing we can do for just like community service is picking up trash. This can help a lot I the community even though it's a small task! For the community service, I think we should do it once a quarter. Once a month is a little bit short since we have to do our projects and other media stuff. We wouldn't have time to do it once a month because this takes a lot of planning and I just don't think we have enough time. We might be able to do once a month if we clear out our calendars on that day. We can also do a big community service for one month and then a small community service for the next month. Like we can go to the soup kitchen or like to relay for life in one month then pick up trash in the next month. We can also do this in period 7 for media! Like we can't do big things but we can just go outside and pick up trash. For me, this is a good idea because the community has given us so many opportunities like this and we should give back to the community. They came to our fundraisers and helped us go to trips or even donate equipment! Another reason why this is a good idea is because of team bondings. Even if it's community service, we can still bond! It can bring us together and the community together! Overall, I think this is a good idea for us to do. This can benefit both of media and the community. I hope we can take this opportunity and try give back to the community since they gave us sooo much support and thank you for that. ...The weirdest thing about the new One Direction single is how sincerely great it is. “Story Of My Life,” the first single taken from their upcoming third studio album Midnight Memories, sounds like the lovechild of Mumford & Sons and Ed Sheeran for the first minute, until it transforms into a gorgeously uplifting Coldplay or Phillip Phillips-style lighters-up arena ballad with an urgent backbeat. the shots are really good too! I want to know how they make the shots dissapear from ime shot to another exactly the same! That's all! Bye!!!
Hi! I really didn't know what I was supposed to write because everyone was writing about there time at STN Practice so I decided to write about the best music videos. I'm going to talk about my favorite music video, story of my life, the 2nd thing I want to talk about is what the whole music video is. Lastly I want to talk about why it's good and the shots. The story of my life is a really good music video and I hope you like it!
The first thing I want to talk about is what story of my life is. Best Song Ever is the new album's Live While We're Young, this song is the album's softer, acoustic-based single is definitely its Little Things. Ed Sheeran didn't have a hand in this somber love song, but it sure sounds like it, thanks to writing and lyrical contributions from every member of the band. "Story of My Life" is a song recorded by British-Irish boy band One Direction. It was released on 25 October 2013 by Syco Music andColumbia Records as the second single from the group's third studio album, This song was actually written by James Scott and One Direction itself! The video was directed by Ben Winston, who also directed the video for Best Song Ever. It was then officially uploaded on November 3rd. The video features some the band's family members: Zayn Malik's sister, Harry Style's mother, Liam Payne's parents and sisters, Niall Horan's brother and Louis Tomlinson`s grandparents (two of whom are now deceased). It starts in a dark room with the band developing photos. Afterwards, certain family photos for each member are shown, and the photos morph into the same family members doing a current recreation of the photos. Photos included in the video consist of: Malik, aged 7, with his little sister; Tomlinson, aged 8, with his grandparents; Styles, aged 4, with his mother; Horan, aged 4, with his brother being aged 10 when the photo was taken; Payne aged 10, with his family dressed formally. These are reviews from normal people so this is not written all by me. The song received positive reviews from critics. Sam Lanksy of Idolator called the song "surprisingly great" and noted it was a "mature midpoint" between the group's signature "rollicking pop-rock confection[s]" and "dreary ballads". Lanksy additionally called the song "merciful" and complimented it for using alternative-folk influences without "smell[ing] like spilled beer".[4] Amy Sciarretto of PopCrush gave the song 4 out of 5 stars, calling it a "contemplative, acoustic guitar-driven song" and complimenting it for being "more memorable" than any of the group's previous works. Sciarretto noted that the song would resonate with listeners of many different ages and showed that One Direction "isn't just a boy band"; although noted the song was not as "crazy catchy" as their previous songs.[1] Lauren Wheeler of TheCelebrityCafe.com gave the song 5 out of 5 stars noting that the lyrics were "reflective" and "much deeper than some of their bigger hits." Wheeler added that the song showed that One Direction "not only have range, but also have matured through their music."[5] That's all of it! Thanks for reading! (The one that I know my dad has is this canon water housing without the go pro and the lens size is a tad bit smaller.) Hi guys! Today I wanted to talk about the canon water housings! Canon water housings are case for canon cameras that you can take underwater! The go pros are kind of the same but the focus isn't good and you actually use a canon camera so it focuses and takes good quality pictures/videos. My dad has one of these and I really want one but there really expensive and could take years to save up for. I think they benefit our class because since we live on kauai most of the news stories we take are about the ocean and the problems around it. We usually use a go pro but I think this is a really good opportunity for us media kids to take and use and it would have more focused good quality videos for our spot features or any other video. That's all! Thanks for looking at my blog! (A canon water housing usually is about $3,000.) -Annie ♡↞ Hi guys! I know everybody had a difficult decision in their life. I think this blog is going to be kind of hard becasue I had many difficult decisions in my life. Almost everything we see is a decision in our life that could affect us only a little or a lot in our lives. One of the most difficult decision in my life is school. School is something everyone struggles in and I want to tell you some of my difficult decisions at school.
One reason school is one thing thats difficult decision I made. It's MEDIA. Yes, thats one difficult decision about school. I love media a lot but you have to take extra time and effort. And thats a lot of people with procrastination is afraid of. I procrastinate a lot and I think that's just who I am, but I try hard to et things on time and not on the last minute, because believe me, I do that A LOT. I'm afraid that I won't turn anything in on time, it's not good enough, I'm not trying enough, and i'm gonna fail. I make decisions like should I trust this person to be my partner? Can I turn this in on time? Should I wait? Should I just give up? I did that and thought that a lot and it makes me stressed. I have this disease that makes me want everything orderly and on time, and if I don't I literally get a panic attack. Everything has to be in a list, I need to have everything packed and checked 4 times, living in fear of something not being good enough. As you guys might know, my binders a mess but things I don't really like I really don't try hard enough. But if I try hard enough I get it. I think thats one reason why I'm not going to media. I always think too hard and I overthink a lot and stress too much so maybe those are all the difficult decisions I have. Another difficult decision in school is grades. Grades are the worst because they slap something on you're report card saying your not trying you're best when you study every night and day and makes you want to collapse after a day at school. We have decisions we make in our minds about our grades a lot. Like if we turn this essay in will I still have a good grade on my report card? If I fail math, can I still go to college? Even if I try can I still not be able to go to college? Would I have no job because of not going college? Grades affect a whole lot of your life like who you're going to marry, what you'll be, if you'll live in a mansion or a weird motel that has disgusting smells to it. It affects who you are and what you're going to become. Those are 2 main reasons why school makes you have difficult decisions. They also make you queasy, and nauseous, and feeling like you want to throw up all the bad grades you got, but enough about that! I hope you liked my blog as much as I think you do! -Annie ♡↞ Hey Guys!
Today, I wanna talk about my most favorite hilarious movie ever grown ups 2! The shots were so good and they use all kinds of cameras in the movie. They used go pros for underwater scenes and it looked kind of like a fisheye lens. They also took a T2i and strapped it on a remote control helicopter for scenes like landscaping shots. Check it out, its on CD already and the whol I guess that's all! BUUUYYYEEE!!!! Hi guys! Today i want to talk about my PSA. My PSA is actually about meth use and how meth doesn't affect not just you, but everyone around you! I'm going to talk about my challenges I have for my video, what i'm going to do for filming and editing, and my shotlist update! My PSA I think is right on time and I just need to film and edit my video and thats all! I'm doing this blog on my PSA update
Hey guys! Today I wanted to talk about the MacBook Air from Apple. It's kind of just like the mac book pro that I think we have at media. A macbook air is just 0.68 inch thin and weighs 2.38 pounds. But a aluminum unibody design makes MacBook Air tough and durable, too.The 11-inch MacBook Air lasts up to 9 hours between charges and the 13‑inch model lasts up to 12 hours. When it’s time to kick back and relax, you can get up to 8 hours of iTunes movie playback on the 11-inch model and up to 10 hours on the 13‑inch model. It also benefits our school because if we buy it for media, it would be easier for STN because it has a long battery life, its tough, and its
